IF you participate in any of the running events, the family social bike ride is FREE! The goal of this race is to have fun while supporting Nic and the Nelson family.
A Little Bit about Nic….
Nic is a 13yr old boy that is on the Turnagain Training High Performance Triathlon Team. Last May he was experienced extreme pain that we assumed was growing pains but after several weeks of continuous issues an MRI was competed and cancer was found in his pelvis. Since May Nic has been undergoing cancer treatment at John Hopkins Hospital in MD. The goal of this race is to help support the Nelson family as they deal with several medical bills.
