Our Kid’s Outdoor Splash n’ Dash races kicked off again this Summer! This year marks 4yrs! The kids had a blast and it’s such a treat to see the kids improvements from last year to this year, with many kids opting to run the 2 lap course instead of the 1 lap option. Several kids have invited there friends to join them and it’s wonderful to see the positive encouragement as they wait for another in the transition area and work together on the run.
What do kids have to do?
Swim 50 meters (1 lap in the pool – down & back)
Run .75miles (1 lap) or 1.5miles (2 laps) on a mixture of dirt and pavement
But, we haven’t swam since February and we’re avoiding indoor spaces!
…… That’s OK! There is a line so kids can do the run only!
What do you get for the $25 entry fee?
You’ll get an insulated lunch bag with a variety of swag in it including a race bib. After completing the race, kid’s also get a finisher medal, a personal kid size pizzas from Papa Murphy’s & a frozen yogurt from Menchies frozen yogurt at the finish line area…. PLUS the fun and positive race atmosphere! You’re race entry fee also covers the Muni trail use fee.
